Organisations

We are creating a community of Community Makers to share experiences and tips on using technology to support people affected by dementia. As well as contributing to this toolkit, we have a community actively swapping ideas and insights with each other using Slack and through regular online meetings.

Ways to get involved:

Join our monthly Zoom meetings – each month we hear a case study from one of our members, talking to us about how they are adapting to online or remote support. We also have a general discussion to share ideas and experiences.

Join our Slack Community – we use a Slack workspace as a way to share online, outside of meetings.

Share a case study, or insight for the website. – If you have experiences that you think others could benefit from, please share them, and we can add them to the website

Spread the word – please tell others who might benefit from joining Community Makers.

If you run a dementia support group, and would like to be part of Community Makers, please contact us.
